Minimalism in Mariestad
This is my first #konstcollabs project which is very special because I have wanted to collaborate with Björn since relocating to Mariestad! He has been creating minimal works for the past 25 years and is the premier minimal artist in Mariestad. Though he is still thinking about a website and social media platforms - I start every project the same way with a brand identity. Not only does his aesthetic depict minimalism he also combines his love for Scandinavian culture with his great appreciation and fondness for Japanese culture. Therefore, he creates thoughtfully engaging works on paper that share stories of a Scandinavian lifestyle, travelling and truly connecting to Japan, the Japanese theory of Ma and the importance of sustainability.
